Claude Code, Codex, and Charon are direct choices in New session, locally or on a workspace’s SSH host. Ordinary shells can run other tools too.
Managed through Overseer
Charon can be the Overseer itself, or a teammate it spawns and directs through a Drive connection. Existing sessions need an explicit connection before the manager can send instructions. Charon message reads and Copy use its own terminal output.
Runtime-specific support
Automatic peer reply relays currently support Claude Code and Codex. Charon supports Overseer Drive, but not automatic peer relays or full transcript copying.
