Put a conversation away.
Bring the same one back.

Choose Archive on an agent pane and give the conversation a name. Find it later in the workspace’s searchable Archived menu, ordered by its last actual message. Its task history, working directory, host, and conversation identity stay with it.

Keep running in tmux

Archiving detaches the pane and removes its automation connections. Its tmux process can continue working. Reopening attaches to that process when it is still alive.

Resume the exact conversation

If a Claude or Codex process has ended, Acheron uses its verified saved conversation. It never substitutes the newest conversation in a folder. Choose conversation… provides explicit recovery when a binding is missing.

Know what can be recovered

Charon and sessions without a verified transcript can only reconnect to an existing process from the archive. Offline remote hosts keep their saved timestamps until a connected session lets Acheron refresh them.
